When on the line, where are your feet? 

Getting onto the line, your mind is full of shot cycles and posture and hand position and hooks and back tension quite often forgetting about your feet. They orientate your body correctly when in your open,closed or neutral stance. Always make sure you are standing in the same place with the same foot position (indoors use the painted floor markings, outside you can use foot pins or a handy stone ground into the dirt).

Pic shows cunning use of the floor batons in the hall allowing perfect positioning every time. Open stance, right toe on the darker gap, left toe one baton back. The same every end! For context, the red line is the shooting line and the arrow points to the target.
