More Badges!

You may have seen some of our more .. err .. “seasoned” archers wandering round with a club badge on their quivers, hats or chest guards. These badges, once an extremely common sight in Scottish Archery, have become collectors items (aren’t they all?). The reason? We ran out of them some years ago.

This kind of ended a club tradition where all GA archers carried the badge of their allegiance when visiting other clubs. Partly as a sign of “this is my tribe” or, as in the case of our Vice-chair, a bit of a warning! :o)

Mint, still in original packaging.

In the last few weeks there have been a quite a few questions as to where one of these puppies could be acquired from and until now the only response we had was “tough cheese, we don’t have any!” However, thanks to the magic of our Secretary … we once more have club badges to sport upon quiver and hat.

Here are the new badges in all their collectable glory. For once we have no demands for a score or two from you. Just a simple financial transaction of £5 and this gorgeous pouting cutie could be on your quiver telling anyone who sees it, your allegiance is to the red and black of GA!

If you feel like making a collection of other clubs badges, it is considered acceptable to trade GA badges for other clubs badges. We see this as a 5th column attack where other clubs will see our badge’s gorgeousness then feel the need to come join us as an associate or even full member.
