Glasgow Archers is now a Charity

Last night May 31st at the EGM, the membership of GA ratified the new constitution that was proposed. This is the result of some 5 months work and means we have completed all the steps required by OSCR.

Glasgow Archers is now a charity – SC052523.

GA’s goals will be to promote archery’s physical and mental benefits to the community of Glasgow and hopefully further afield as well. To that end we will continue to grow the club, run beginners courses, aid our members to go as far as their ability and desire will take them and ultimately, to create a centre of excellence for archery in Scotland.

Plans are already underway and we hope to be able to report our progress and first successes soon. Its an exciting time to be a GA archer.
